Hello.

I'm Gene. Or Jenya. Or Yevgeniy, when I'm feeling fancy.

I am a wedding filmmaker. A cinematographer. A videographer. A coordinator (if I reeeally have to be, but I'm hoping you've already got that covered). It doesn't matter what you call me, as in the end, I am but one thing - a visual storyteller.

I am based and operate primarily in the DMV area, but not limited to it.

A little back story. I have started out as a photographer about a decade and a half ago. Somewhere along the way, I came to realize that I could produce a great quality video pretty much with the equipment that I already had. I must admit, I had never had any passion for film up until that point. But once I've tried it, I could never look back.

Most of the time, I am a one man show, although I couldn't recommend it enough that you add a second shooter option. It will make a world of difference for your final film in more ways than you could imagine.

My approach and style could best be described as a mixture of cinematic and documentary. It will usually lean one way or the other depending on the couple I am working with and the whole vibe of the day. Although I prefer to be invisible whenever I can, I am not afraid to take charge when the situation requires it.
